2019 #CommunitiesTalk Town Hall Meeting

Richland School District Two Hosts Countywide Town Hall Meeting

The Project CARE Coalition in Richland School District Two, in collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Services (SAMHSA), will host Empowered VOICES Speak as a part of Communities Talk. The purpose of the event is to discuss real-life situations affecting our families, schools, and communities and how to combat underage drinking, the health effects associated with drug use, adolescent connectedness, and becoming a more proactive community. Sponsored by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union and Craig Plank State Farm Insurance, this year’s town hall is inspired by the show Teen Summit and will provide youth and adults an opportunity to engage in conversation about
underage drinking, healthy relationships, JUULing/vaping, and prescription drugs.
